45 miles along Coachella Valley you’ll discover Desert X,an art exhibition featuring 16 artists exquisite pieces. Most of the artists have designed their work to compliment the natural environment in which it surrounds.
Visible Distance is a succession of photographs on billboards in Palm Springs which are meant to be viewed from a moving car.The exhibition, which opens on February 25th, is curated by Artistic Director Neville Wakefield. It’s timed to coincide with Coachella Music Festival.
THE ARTWORKS, IN VARIOUS INDOOR AND OUTDOOR LOCATIONS, WILL BE AVAILABLE FREE AND WILL OFFER VISITORS A WAY TO SEE THE VALLEY AND REFLECT ON SERIOUS AND PLAYFUL ISSUES THROUGH THE LENS OF THE PARTICIPATING ARTISTS’ CREATIVITY AND WORK.
