MORI – “FROM HYPERREALISM TO ABSTRACT STYLE,
I try to break the wall between traditional oil painting and digital, merging mediums to form a new twist on classic portraiture. I primarily concentrate on revealing a simpler form, painting bold lines and vivid highlights to convey sharp expressions”.
A PORTRAIT OF OLYA- This is my latest hyperrealistic portrait painting, it took approximately 5 months to complete. Having to paint both the figure of the face realistically, as well as the actual paint over my subjects face, helps accentuate the realism and makes you really question how it was created.
