George Stoyle is the British Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2016.
Marine ecologist turned photographer who somehow manages to combine the two to make a precarious living doing mostly interesting things out & about.
He’ve recently made short films for the Smithsonian Institution, Glenmorangie Distillery, Scottish Natural Heritage, Yorkshire Wildlife Trust and had a few appearances on the BBC. He’ve written some articles, sold some photos, done pretty well in some competitions and he is now continuing to work on various projects for the Smithsonian, including a documentary in Myanmar which he’ll be shooting later this year.
He has been diving for 15 years and underwater photography is his greatest passion.
