Guillermo Garcia-Huidobro Lorca (Santiago, 1984) starts at 16 years his artistic training with the Chilean painter Sergio Montero and in 2002 participated in group exhibitions at the National Salon of Fine Arts. After studying Bachelor of Arts at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, race that leaves to seek his own training.
After his first solo exhibition (Gallery Matthei, 2007) have the opportunity to spend a season as an apprentice and assistant in the workshop of the Norwegian artist Odd Nerdrum, near Oslo (2007).
In 2008 returns to Chile and among other projects and group exhibitions, preparing his second solo exhibition in the Hall of CCU Art (2010). Simultaneously it performs several large format portraits Baquedano Metro Station Santiago (2009-2010), making it the youngest to exhibit his work in the Metro painter.
At the beginning of 2012 on his third solo exhibition at the Gallery Hilario Galguera (DF, Mexico), a place that stands out as representative of foreign artists of great importance, as Damien Hirst and Gottfried Helnwein. The gallery invites you to participate in Zona MACO 2011 and 2012.
During 2013 participates in Art Spot Miami, US and the Ch.ACO Contemporary Art Fair in Santiago, Chile, instance in which also participated in 2009.
2014 opens its fourth solo exhibition at the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes being also the youngest to exhibit individually in this institution The exhibition had a strong media coverage and a massive influx of public and media painter.
