OMG is a Photographic project for the Gods and Titans in ancient Greece by Sofia Camplioni and Athanasiou.
“Out of this World. A trip to a mythical world with dreamlike creatures protagonists and forms that are simultaneously one and many are approaching the world of humans through the myths. Through pro-natural images of these creatures, devoid of name and face, we find allegories of our own inner reality. Faced, full of awe and admiration, with creatures coming through our own existence covering our own imperfection and living in the fantasy of the highest perfection in an imaginative and existential battle to the end of our existence”.
Sofia Camplioni and Athanasiou are both photographers and a couple in life but also at work. They live, work and create in Thessaloniki in Northern Greece.. ” We like to photograph people. We focus on behavior, on reactions, on emotion and through observation of people we learn about ourselves and the world better. Photography is an inner search that never stops.Our inspiration is the people.”
