LUCINDA NEETHLING IS A SOUTH AFRICAN BASED ARTIST, SINGER AND SONGWRITER WHO WORKS IN BALLPOINT PEN TO CREATES PHOTO LIKE DRAWINGS.

She grew up in Jeffreys Bay, where, together with some friends, started an Afrikaans band called Die Melktert Kommissie. In 2002 DMK won the first Jip Rockspaaider competition. Since then they have been nominated for numerous awards such as the KANNA and MK, have released 3 studio albums and  several music videos.

She has recently found her love for fine art in the form of ballpoint pen drawings. Lucinda’s artistic expression stems from her musical career, where the same medium is used to capture feelings in the form of lyrics and now in the form of art…with ballpoint pen on paper.
