Benjamin Wong “Virtually every single piece of plastic that has ever been created,
still exists on the planet today and if we do nothing, by 2050 – there will be more plastics than fish in the sea. We can vote with our wallets and choose to purchase products that are non-disposable and show countries and corporations that we care about the environment”.
In this case, all I knew was that plastic pollution was a boring topic and I had to find a way to make it more interesting. Alone, I was just a photographer – but thanks to the help of amazing individuals we transformed a lifeless pile of used garbage into a message: #MermaidsHatePlastic
