Sony 2022 Sony World Photography Awards.
The 2022 edition of the Sony World Photography Awards exhibition brings together photographers to celebrate the diversity of contemporary photography, inviting visitors to become immersed in an impressive collection of breathtaking images and compelling stories.The internationally acclaimed Sony World Photography Awards champions photography in all its forms through diverse categories and its international community. Now in its 15th year, the 2022 exhibition is set to be one of the most expansive editions yet. Showcasing a stunning selection of winning and shortlisted images from all competitions across the Awards, the exhibition celebrates photographers from more than 200 countries and territories. From portraiture to landscape, architecture to wildlife and fine art to street photography, the selection of images is sure to entertain, inform and move visitors from all walks of life. The exhibition is open to the public from Thu 13 Apr – Mon 02 May, and the display will then travel to the Open Eye Gallery in Liverpool before embarking on an international tour.
