WE MAKE DIRECT PRINTING FROM CITY DRAIN COVERS ON T-SHIRTS, HOODIES, BAGS, POSTERS..
This project reverses in a way the concept of urban art in which something is added to the spaces, modifying and transforming them, sometimes considered as vandalism.
Therefore, instead of adding an artistic intervention, something is taken (removed) and transformed into graphic images.
No impression is equal, although the surface be the same the result is unexpected and surprising, which demonstrates an artisanal side in the way of transmitting the images.
The printed textiles that are created in this project fit into the street wear movement, in addition of being an object that tells a story of the city.
The stamping process is executed manually and in front of the public, which gives rather dynamic to this project.
Raubdruckerin is inspired by the german word Raubdruck.
Raubdruck (pirated edition) is the name for an unauthorized reprint of an original printing unit by a competitive publisher that obscures its own identity in general.
We thank the Berliner Wasserwerke for their support
The goal of this project is to capture different structures in the city with a graphic interest, and transform them into impressions of reality.
