MINIMAL LANDSCAPES | ATTILIO BIXIO.
This photographic project is a study about the countryside near the border between Basilicata and Puglia regions, in south Italy, with its abandoned farmhouses and its lonely trees. Some of them are alone, other are in series of 4 or 5, but all of them are still in harmony with the surrounding landscape, such as they have always been part of it. They create minimal and graphical landscapes, where you can see only 3 or 4 elements: the ground, the sky, the house (or the tree) and, eventually, some clouds. Nothing else.
This project was awarded with an honorable mention in Moscow International Foto Awards – MIFA 2016 in the category “Fine art – landscape”
